We are incredibly proud of our warm and friendly school and the innovative way the staff team work together with parents, governors, children and the community to create teaching and learning opportunities that are relevant, meaningful and fun!
Kirkby-in-Malhamdale is a voluntary aided school supported by a secular foundation trust and our school is much smaller than average, currently having 51 pupils on roll.
Being a small school enables us to really get to know the children and families that use our services and to personalise the learning experience of each child.
In our website you will find a brief outline of the way in which we work.
As well as describing the aims and philosophy of the school, the site also explains our approach to the curriculum and emphasises the importance of strong partnership working between home and school.
I hope the website is useful to both current and prospective parents and encourage those who are interested in our school to arrange a visit so that you can meet the staff and children. Appointments are easily made by telephoning the school on 01729 830214.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need to know more. We look forward to meeting you
