Mrs Amanda Allen

Interim Headteacher

Class 1 Teacher

I have enjoyed teaching at this school for many years. It is a real pleasure to see how the children develop and grow, giving them a great foundation for when they move on to the next stage of their education. Working in such a beautiful location is a true privilege.

Away from school, I enjoy Ballroom and Latin dancing.

. Mr John Bell

Class 2 Teacher

Working in such a beautiful and exciting location is an absolute pleasure. Our children have wonderfully curious minds and with such a rich learning environment all around us, it is always a delight to guide them on their learning journey and help them reach their goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to and playing music, reading, cooking and enjoying the great outdoors with my family.

 Miss Sarah Harrison

General Teaching Assistant with SEN 1:1

Mrs Julie Cawood

Advanced Teaching Assistant

Class 1

I have lived in the Dale all my life and have been lucky enough to work at this lovely school for many years.  I am fortunate to be able to work with such wonderful children and to help them progress and achieve.

I also enjoy cycling, running and walking my dogs.

Mrs Jackie Rushton

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Class 2

Kirkby Malham school children are an absolute joy to teach and make my job particularly rewarding. Working and living in a farming community is a delight.

I am keen on keeping fit in a variety of ways and especially enjoy trekking, both locally and in the Alps.

Mrs Christine Eccleston

School Administrator

I enjoy the lovely happy atmosphere at Kirkby Malham school and working with the children and staff.  I also enjoy my drive to and from school – rush hour consisting of half-a-dozen highland cattle ambling along the road.

Outside school I enjoy yoga and walking my dog.  I also have four grandchildren who keep me quite busy.

Mrs Ali Milner

School Administrator

Being the school's administrator is a fantastic job I have enjoyed for many years.  I meet lots of different people who come into our school, but I especially love helping the children when they need it.  In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, cooking and socialising!

Mrs Nicola Fox

School Cook

I have worked in Early Years education for over 10 years, taking on various roles in the classroom. Then an opportunity arose to take on a different role in education. Being a cook at Kirkby-in-Malhamdale Primary School is all about providing a nutritional meal for the children, giving them the strength and energy they need to take on the day's learning.

My life outside school consists of holidays with my family, fun days out with my 5-year old daughter, and keeping fit through running and exercise classes.
